Kiana Newman

Kiana Newman is an experienced outdoor recreation professional with a background in guiding, training, and customer service. Currently serving as the Coordinator of Outdoor Recreation at Pepperdine University since August 2022, Kiana instructs and trains student leaders while coordinating various events and programs. As a Trail Running Expedition Guide for Rogue Expeditions since June 2022, Kiana curates and leads week-long trail running adventures in Bend, Oregon. Previous roles include Assistant Guiding Manager and Lead Naturalist Guide at Evergreen Lodge at Yosemite, along with positions in customer service at REI, Malibu Fitness, and an administrative role at Scott Campbell Physical Therapy. Kiana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University, attained in 2018.
