As the Vice President of Operations, you own the operations function of the business, including supply chain and manufacturing. The ideal candidate is a builder who can get his or her hands dirty and leverage past experience and playbooks to improve existing operations and develop new processes and systems in a way that’s appropriate for ROKA.  

Responsibilities:

• Lead supply chain and manufacturing teams to achieve company goals 
• Oversee continued buildout of ROKA’s in house eyewear manufacturing
• Supervise day-to-day program operations and work with the executive team to identify challenges in operational processes and develop strategies to improve efficiencies
• Participate in setting organizational strategy and operating goals. Translate strategy into operational plans
• Develop operating budgets and resource plans to execute growth initiatives
• Forecast business trends for company operations 
• Identify problems, build plans and drive implementation 
• Optimize resources, including inventory, facilities, budget dollars, physical and capital assets, and talent
• Ensure appropriate reporting tools are in place to monitor results with a focus of driving continual improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness of key business processes
• Coordinate with managers across multiple departments to ensure the departments operate smoothly and are on track 
• Build and maintain measures for improving business processes & strategies for success

Experience:

• 10+ years of business and operations leadership experience
• Experience in manufacturing operations and the needs and capabilities of each department
• Experience managing a supply chain function (inventory management, demand planning, logistics)
• Experience managing fulfillment (in house or via 3PL)
• Knowledge of performance eyewear industry a plus 
• Demonstrated excellence at team building and management.

Work Location:

ROKA is located in Austin, TX, USA.  This is an “in person” role, and candidates must be prepared to work on-site full-time. Remote candidates will not be considered for this position.
