The Opportunity:  

We're scouting for a Trading Product Owner to oversee the integration and management of our cutting-edge Sportsbook Trading ecosystem. This role is your gateway to lead the collaboration between our trading team, external partners, and the development squads. With a solid foundation in the Sportsbook sector, you'll be the designer of our product development, mastering the art of prioritizing requirements and maintaining the trading product roadmap. In this startup atmosphere, you'll have the unique chance to mold a top-tier sports betting platform for one of the iGaming industry's giants. 

Role overview: 

Trading Product Owner is a crucial role where your deep technical expertise in Sportsbook Trading systems will drive the successful integration and implementation of our trading ecosystem. You'll be the cornerstone for our global development team, orchestrating collaborations across borders and seamlessly blending trading requirements with innovative product management. Your role involves direct engagement with internal and external partners, evaluating third-party solutions, and ensuring our front-end and back-end platforms are perfectly aligned.

Key responsibilities of this role include: 

  • Work closely with Product & Technology teams to create and manage a trading development roadmap that aligns with the company's broader strategy.

  • Assist the Lead Trading Product Owner in prioritizing future sports integration projects, ensuring each aligns with a clear business benefit.

  • Simplify complex trading concepts for effective communication across trading functions and business teams.

  • Ensure smooth collaboration with both internal and external development teams for successful product deliveries.

  • Foster relationships with development teams to guide user story creation, acceptance criteria, and user journeys.

  • Provide detailed trading requirements documents for development team execution.

  • Lead scrum teams by clarifying challenges, ensuring access to necessary resources and tools, and collaborating to develop effective trading solutions.

  • Develop, negotiate, and adhere to budgets, crafting and sustaining business cases for upcoming trading needs.

  • Assess and prioritize third-party and internal trading feature opportunities, incorporating data and market analysis into product planning.

  • Conduct ongoing research and analysis of the B2B Sportsbook market, including competitor benchmarking, to inform strategy and identify partnership opportunities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate: 

  • Significant background in the Sportsbook industry, showcasing domain expertise.
  • Proficient in Agile software development practices to drive efficient and effective product development cycles.
  • Ability to work closely with software engineers to identify and fix performance bugs, ensuring product quality in function, design, and user experience.
  • Strong grasp of both technical and functional aspects of Sportsbook Trading platforms, including back-end and front-end operations.
  • Experienced in enhancing trading operations through the integration of external trading tools and consoles.
  • Ability to utilize market data, user feedback, and analytics to inform strategic product decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts to varied audiences.
  • Efficient at time management, adept at prioritizing tasks to ensure every project is completed on schedule.
  • Flexible working approach to accommodate collaboration with international teams across multiple time zones.
  • Openness to travel for stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and participation in industry events.
