Maarten Schippers

Maarten Schippers has a diverse work experience. Maarten currently serves as the CEO and General Director of Rolan Robotics, a system integrator company. In addition, they are a Member of the Supervisory Board at IMSystems.

Previously, Schippers held the position of CEO at Airbus Defence and Space Netherlands B.V., from September 2019 to July 2021. Prior to that, they served in various roles at the company, including Director of Industrialisation & AIT and Industrialisation Program Manager.

Maarten was also a Member of the Board of Directors at ArianeGroup from January 2020 to June 2021.

Schippers has contributed to the economic development of Zuid-Holland as a Board Member of the Economic Board Zuid-Holland. Maarten has also been an Advisory Board Member at TU Delft | Aerospace Engineering and a Strategic Advisory Board Member at Nederlands Lucht- en Ruimtevaartcentrum.

Furthermore, they have held the position of Member of the Board at HI (Holland Instrumentation).

Earlier in their career, Schippers worked at ASML, where they held the role of Director of Service & Manufacturing Technology, responsible for technology solutions and infrastructure for New Product Introductions. Maarten was also the Managing Director of ASML Motion.

Overall, Schippers has a strong background in leadership, management, and strategic advisory roles in the aerospace and technology industries.

Maarten Schippers completed their Gymnasium education at VCL from 1990 to 1997. Following that, they pursued an MSc in Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology from 1997 to 2004. Maarten furthered their education by obtaining a CPIM degree in Supply Chain Management from APICS (ATIM) in the year 2006.
