About the Role

We’re on the lookout for an adept Business Development Representative (BDR) who loves and has experience working both inbound and outbound leads to help grow our sales pipeline. Reporting to the Head of Global Sales Development, you’ll be the front-line connection with prospects, mastering the sales process and qualification and setting our Account Executives up for success. This role is a hybrid (in-office/remote) position that involves researching, initiating and maintaining relationships, and capitalizing on every opportunity to foster growth. 

What You'll Do

  • Inbound and Outbound Prospecting:
    - Swiftly respond to inbound inquiries, reducing initial response time
    - Generate new business leads through outbound opportunities via calls and emails
  • Lead Qualification:
    -  Qualify inbound and outbound leads through effective discovery calls
    -  Understand prospect needs and pain points, articulating our product's value proposition
  • Pipeline Generation:
    - Drive urgency to progress prospects through the sales funnel
    - Collaborate with the sales team to meet company goals and targets
  • Relationship Building and Event Representation:
    - Initiate meetings between prospects and Account Executives
    - Drive engagement and seize new business opportunities from events

About You

  • You are based in Austin, Texas
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Business Development Representative
  • At least 2 years of B2B experience in the SaaS industry selling a multi-point solution to solve multiple pain points for the prospective customer
  • You thrive in a hybrid work environment
  • Demonstrated history of success in quota attainment
  • Understanding of MEDDICC or BANT qualification
  • Previous experience in outbound sales motions strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Hubspot, or other CRM software

What You Can Expect

  1. Initial call with our Talent Acquisition Manager
    You'll have an initial call with our Talent Acquisition Manager to chat through some of your experience to date, salary expectations and you can check off any initial questions you might have.
  2. Interview with our Director of Business Development
    You'll get to meet with the hiring manager to learn more about the role & ROLLER whilst also talking through your experience in more detail.
  3. Loop Interviews
    This is where you will get to meet our wider ROLLER team to do a 'vibe check' on us to make sure our culture & vibe meet what you are looking for!
  4. Final Role Play Working Session
    This is where you will get to assemble all you have learned during the interview process and share your plan for your first year at ROLLER.
  5. Offer
    If all lights are green and the fit feel right, we'll conduct reference checks and you'll receive an offer to join!
