Neil Cassidy

Neil Cassidy is a seasoned professional in cyber security and operational management with extensive experience across various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director on the Innovation Board for Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership since January 2022, Cassidy has also held the position of Director of Cyber Security at Rolls-Royce since April 2015. Previously, Cassidy worked as the Deputy Director of Operations for CERT-UK at the Cabinet Office and operated as a Cyber Security Consultant, focusing on the establishment of Security Operations Centres and improving operational performance. Cassidy’s earlier tenure at QinetiQ included roles such as Cyber Defence Practice Lead and Operations Director of the Security Practice, where leadership resulted in significant improvements and certifications. Cassidy holds a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Nottingham.
