Ionela Cristea

Ionela currently holds the position of Program Director of the Roma Education Fund Romania Foundation. Ionela has been active in the Foundation for over 6 years, starting with 2010. She coordinated activities within the School after School Project - ID 55876 and was the project manager "Roma children and parents want to go to school!" - ID 132996. Ionela graduated from the “All About Parenting” program on innovative methods for educating and developing children.

He graduated from the Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, University of Bucharest, and then pursued a Master's degree in Human Resource Management at the same faculty. Since 2003, she has been actively involved in Roma civil society, working for the "Together" Community Development Agency. Ionela has specific experience in implementing projects in several fields: youth, volunteering and education. Ionela was also an active member of the Roma civil society during the period when she worked as a consultant within the company PricewaterhouseCoopers Romania.

During all the years she spent with the foundation, Ionela contributed significantly to the internal management processes of the organization, as well as to the creation and improvement of educational programs and was an integral part of the positioning process of Roma Education Fund Romania, both on the internal market and the external one.
