CRS Rice Bowl Coordinator at Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington

Catherine Albornoz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in nonprofit management, community service, and communications. Since September 2011, Catherine has served as a Consultant for the Ignatian Volunteer Corps, focusing on marketing, communications, and board support. Simultaneously, since December 2010, Catherine has worked as the CRS Rice Bowl Coordinator for the Archdiocese of Washington, promoting the Catholic Relief Services' Rice Bowl Program across various community platforms. Catherine's prior role as Coordinator for the Langley Park Parish Partnership involved enhancing collaboration amongst multiple parishes to foster community-building initiatives. Additionally, as Social Justice & Community Services Director at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, Catherine oversaw outreach ministries aimed at supporting underserved populations. Catherine holds a Master of Public Policy with a concentration in Social Policy and Nonprofit Management from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
