Jay Parrish

Jay Parrish has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. In that year, they began working as an Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2016, they became a Venture Partner at ARCH Venture Partners and Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. In 2019, they Co-Founded and became a Member of the Board of Directors at ROME Therapeutics. In 2020, they became Chairman of the Board at Lilac Therapeutics, a Series A company focused on small molecule solutions to several types of kidney stones, and a Member of the Board of Directors at Guide Therapeutics. In 2021, they became Chairman and CEO at Pretzel Therapeutics, Member of the Board of Directors at Interline Therapeutics, and Board Observer at Gate Bioscience. Finally, in 2022, they became a Strategic Advisor at Orbital Therapeutics.

Jay Parrish's educational history began with their attendance at Chamberlain Senior High School. Jay then went on to earn a BS in Chemistry from Emory University in 1996. Jay then pursued a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at the University of South Florida, which they completed in 2001. Finally, in 2008, they earned an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
