Staff Product Designer at Ronin

Julie Lucas has extensive experience in the field of design and user experience. Julie is currently working at Project Ronin as a Staff Product Designer, where they began in June 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Product Designer at the same company from July 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Project Ronin, Julie worked at SS&C Advent from March 2017 to July 2021. During their time there, they served as a Staff User Experience Designer, taking on the role of Design Lead for a new investment management solution. From April 2005 to May 2007, Julie was employed at Blue Shield of CA as a Lead Interaction Designer. Julie'sresponsibilities involved designing conceptual designs, site maps, task flows, and wireframes for the consumer-facing web site. Julie also managed contract interaction designers and directed user research and usability testing.

Julie started their career at Bank of America, where they worked as an Interaction Designer from August 2002 to March 2005. Julie'stasks included developing information architecture, task flows, navigation systems, and detailed wireframes for the bank's consumer-facing website. Julie also coordinated and managed the creative work of multidisciplinary teams.

Before their time at Bank of America, Julie worked at John Wiley and Sons as a Contract Information Architect from December 2001 to March 2002. Prior to that, they were employed at Agency.com as an Information Architect from 2000 to 2001 and as a Site Manager from 1999 to 2000.

Julie's early career included positions at S&P Global Ratings, where they worked as a Copy Editor from 1998 to 1999, and as an Editorial Assistant from 1997 to 1998.

Julie Lucas holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University. In 2012, they also attended Cooper U, although no degree or field of study information is available for this particular institution.
