Rob Darling

Director Of Strategy, Partnerships at Roon Labs

Rob Darling has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Rob started their career as a Recording Engineer and Producer at Giant Recording, where they worked with both major pop and rock artists as well as orchestral and theater productions. Rob then joined the prestigious Hit Factory studio, where they had the opportunity to work with top-quality equipment and a wide range of artists. In 1996, Rob became a Studio Integration Consultant, leveraging their expertise in digital technologies to help create recording facilities that facilitated the creation of high-quality music. In 2006, they took on the role of VP of Strategy at Sooloos, contributing to the development of software and hardware systems. Currently, Rob serves as the Director of Strategy and Partnerships at Roon Labs, where they have played a pivotal role in expanding the Roon Ready and Roon Tested partner programs, collaborating with numerous manufacturers to improve networked audio systems.

Rob Darling attended Choate Rosemary Hall from 1986 to 1988 and obtained a High School Diploma. Rob then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian/English at Columbia University from 1988 to 1992. Additionally, Rob has obtained certification as a Certified Gyrotonic Trainer from GYROTONIC® International Headquarters.
