Annie Giupponi

Annie Giupponi, LMSW, PMH-C, is a dedicated therapist specializing in a range of mental health issues, including eating disorders, perinatal mental health, and trauma. As the founder and therapist at Rooted Counseling since June 2017, Annie provides compassionate, individualized care for clients navigating various life challenges. Previous experience includes counseling at Small Talk Children’s Advocacy Center, where Annie aided child trauma survivors and families, and serving as clinical manager and primary therapist at Insight Behavioral Health Centers, focusing on adolescent eating disorder treatments. Annie initiated significant programs at both Insight and The Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt, emphasizing family involvement in recovery. Academic credentials include a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Hillsdale College.
