Stephen West

Stephen West has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the finance and energy sectors. Stephen is currently the Executive Chairman and Founder of Roquefort Therapeutics plc, a position they have held since August 2020. In addition, they are a Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director of EnergyPathways Limited starting from September 2021.

Prior to these roles, Stephen held prominent positions at Zeta Petroleum plc, Advance Energy plc, Petronor E&P Limited, APOLLO CONSOLIDATED LIMITED, Aspire Minerals Pty Ltd, Zeta Petroleum Limited, Regal Petroleum plc, and Barclays Capital.

At Zeta Petroleum plc, they served as the Non-Executive Chairman and Co-Founder from September 2013 to June 2022. Stephen also held the position of Managing Director from July 2010 to September 2013.

Previously, Stephen was the CFO and Executive Director at Advance Energy plc from June 2020 to March 2022. Stephen also served as the CFO and Executive Director at Petronor E&P Limited from October 2013 to February 2020.

Additionally, Stephen was a Non-Executive Director at APOLLO CONSOLIDATED LIMITED from April 2012 to April 2018. Stephen also served as the Finance Director at Zeta Petroleum Limited from September 2005 to July 2010.

Prior to these roles, Stephen worked as the Group Financial Controller at Regal Petroleum plc from July 2002 to September 2005. Stephen began their career at Barclays Capital, where they held the position of Manager - Global Finance Projects from March 2000 to July 2002.

During their tenure at Aspire Minerals Pty Ltd, which was founded by him in 2009, they played a crucial role in acquiring mining projects in North America and West Africa. Stephen successfully vended the Canadian assets into Glory Resources Ltd and the Cote d'Ivoire assets into Apollo Consolidated Ltd. Stephen'stime at Aspire Minerals Pty Ltd lasted from March 2009 to April 2012.

Stephen West attended Curtin University from 1990 to 1993. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with a focus on Accounting and Business Law.
