Chi Zhang

Chi Zhang is an experienced professional in bioprocess development and diagnostics, currently serving as Manager of Upstream Process Development and Lead Scientist at Hilleman Laboratories since May 2022. Prior to this role, Chi Zhang worked at Roquette as BioPharma Senior Scientist II, focusing on upstream bioprocess development and cell culture optimization. Previous positions include Research Scientist roles at Bosch and Credo Biomedical Pte Ltd, where Chi Zhang developed point-of-care devices and in vitro diagnostic methods, respectively. Early career experience includes postdoctoral fellowships at the National University of Singapore and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), contributing to drug toxicity screening and high-throughput assays. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Bioengineering from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from South China University of Technology.
