Armin Osmanovic has extensive experience in international politics, with a focus on African regions, serving as Regional Representative for North Africa, West Africa, and Southern Africa at Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung since November 2009. Prior roles include University Lecturer at the University of Potsdam and University of Münster, a Freelance Consultant for Welthungerhilfe, and Postdoctoral Researcher at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA). Armin holds a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Tübingen and a Master's degree in Human Geography and Political Science from the same institution, alongside studies in Arts, History, and Sociology at Stellenbosch University.

Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung
The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation is one of the six party-affiliated political foundations in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is affiliated with the party DIE LINKE. The foundation's primary task is political education. The foundation's work promotes critical social analysis, progressive cultural approaches and the networking of emancipatory actors. It operates internationally in the field of development cooperation and equal dialogue and documents important results of left-wing politics with the help of the Archive of Democratic Socialism. In addition, it supports young academics with scholarships as part of its study program.
