Tom Morren

Director of Operations at Rose Community Management

Mr. Morren is the Director of Operations for Rose Community Management, LLC (RCM). In this role, he is responsible for the strategic and operational planning and performance of the property management company. He is also accountable for the financial and compliance performance of the 11,000 multifamily units throughout the country.

Before Mr. Morren became the Director of Operations, he was the Director of Facilities for RCM and led and managed a team of Regional Facilities Managers with strategic direction in both the daily and long-term maintenance operations. In this role, Mr. Morren also managed environmental programs with a focus on non-toxic materials and energy-efficient systems.

Prior to Jonathan Rose Companies, Mr. Morren worked for Forest City Residential Management. In the beginning, he was the District Manager in Chicago, IL. He was responsible for the day-to-day operations of communities totaling approximately 1500 apartments. The Portfolio consisted of Conventional Apartments; Section 8 Elderly Housing; Retail Commercial Gallery. Mr. Morren was the supervisor of approximately 100 staff members, including salaried management staff, hourly operations staff, and union maintenance/housekeeping staff. In 2013, Mr. Morren became a Regional Manager. He was responsible for the day-to-day operations of 8-16 communities within Michigan. All properties were subsidized either for Section 8 or Section 236. He supervised a staff of approximately 50 staff members.

Prior to joining Forest City Residential Management, Mr. Morren was employed by Southern Management as a Community Manager at properties located in Virginia. He also served as Assistant to the General Manager of the Watergate @ Landmark Condominium Association in Alexandria, Virginia.
