Dushyant Shahrawat (D)

Dushyant Shahrawat has a strong background in the financial services industry, particularly in the field of FinTech. Dushyant (D) currently works as the Director of FinTech Investment Banking at Rosenblatt Securities, where they play a key role in assisting FinTech companies with their corporate finance needs, such as fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, SPACs, and IPOs. Some notable deals they have been involved in include working as a co-manager for Robinhood's IPO, serving as an advisor for MoneyLion's SPAC, and co-managing SOFI's $1.2 billion convertible debt offering.

Prior to their current role, Dushyant worked as a Senior Contributor in FinTech for Forbes, where they shared their insights and expertise in the industry. Dushyant (D) also founded their own FinTech advisory firm called FINTECH Associates LLC, where they worked as the Managing Director. In this role, they provided services to financial institutions and FinTech companies across various areas, including capital markets, investment management, and wealth management. Dushyant has presented at numerous FinTech events and conferences, such as Money 20/20, Finovate, LendIT, FinTech sandbox, MIT FinTech Conference, and MIT Media Lab Summit.

Dushyant also has experience working in advisory and mentorship roles. Dushyant (D) served as an Advisor and Mentor at the MIT Media Lab, where they contributed their expertise to innovative projects. Prior to that, they worked as the Principal Executive Advisor for Financial Services at CEB (now Gartner), where they led a team of analysts in conducting market research and analysis on tech innovations in the financial services industry. Dushyant (D) provided advice to executives of investment firms, broker/dealers, and technology vendors on topics such as responding to challenges posed by emerging technologies and engaging with startups and the investment ecosystem. Dushyant took a sabbatical during this time to attend MIT Sloan as a full-time Sloan Fellow focused on innovation and entrepreneurship.

Earlier in their career, Dushyant worked as a Research Analyst at TowerGroup, a financial services-focused market research firm. Dushyant (D) began as the youngest research analyst and was later promoted to Senior Analyst. During their time at TowerGroup, they specialized in covering digital finance and provided advice to investment banks, brokers, traders, custodians, tech vendors, and regulators.

Dushyant started their career at Fidelity Investments as an Analyst, where they performed financial analysis and forecasting for Y2K and provided quarterly reporting to the company's CFO.

Dushyant Shahrawat pursued an MBA (Sloan Fellow) degree in Full-time Executive MBA program at the MIT Sloan School of Management from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they were awarded the CFA Charter by the CFA Institute in 2006, specializing in Investment Management. While the exact dates are unknown, Dushyant also completed an MBA with a focus on Finance at Northeastern University. In their earlier education, they received a BA in Economics (Honors) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, which they completed from 1991 to 1994.
