Director Of Corporate And Foundation Relations at Rosie's Place

Amy Peters has a diverse work experience in various non-profit organizations. Amy is currently serving as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Rosie's Place since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Perkins School for the Blind as a Development Officer, Institutional Giving from January 2018 to September 2021. Before that, they were involved in program development, grant writing, and multiple development roles at Children's Friend from August 2010 to January 2018. Amy also worked as the sole fundraiser at a grass-roots arts organization called Riverzedge Arts from August 2009 to August 2010. Additionally, they served as a part-time consultant at Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless from March 2009 to July 2009.

Amy Peters completed their MA in Gender/Cultural Studies at Simmons University from 1999 to 2000. Amy then pursued further studies in Philosophy at Fordham University, where they obtained an MA in Philosophy. From 2000 to 2008, they continued their education at Fordham University, pursuing a PHD but did not complete it, obtaining an ABD (All But Dissertation) status. Additionally, they earned an MPhil degree in Philosophy during this time. Amy's field of study throughout their education was Philosophy.
