Joe Kelk Ph.D.

Joe Kelk, Ph.D., has a diverse range of work experience. Joe is currently working at Roslin Technologies as a Senior Scientist with a focus on Technical Account Management. Prior to this, they worked at the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research as a Doctoral Student, where they conducted research on the regulation of endothelial functions by macrophages. Joe also had a secondment period at MIMETAS. Additionally, Joe has experience as a Masters Student at the University of Sheffield, a Microbiology Laboratory Technician at Young's Seafood, and a Work Experience placement at the Diana Princess Of Wales Treatment Centre. Joe has also had work experience at Centrica Energy and the University of Hull, where they gained experience in marine biology.

Joe Kelk Ph.D. began their education in 2005 at Healing School, where they completed their high school education. From 2013 to 2016, Joe attended Leeds Beckett University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on physiology and pharmacology. In 2017 and 2018, they pursued a Master's degree in Translational Neuroscience at The University of Sheffield. Most recently, from 2019 to 2022, Joe obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Biology from The Open University.
