Alexander Petrov

Alexander Petrov has a strong background in the energy industry, with specialized experience in gas and LNG projects. Alexander began their career as a Financial Analyst at Investment Group UNIVER, where they managed the research team and built complex financial models for valuation purposes. Alexander then became an Investment Manager at Basic Element, where they evaluated investment projects and prepared business plans and investment memos. Later, they joined Gazprom Export as a Gas and LNG Marketing Specialist, where they provided economic analysis for investment decisions and coordinated contract approvals within the head office. Most recently, they worked at Rosneft as a Business Development and Marketing Manager, focusing on gas and LNG projects. In this role, they developed business models and commercial agreements, negotiated with partners, and conducted economic evaluations. Alexander also developed marketing strategies, built supply and demand models, and forecasted prices and logistics planning for potential projects.

From 2001 to 2006, Alexander Petrov attended the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. During their time there, they studied Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics.
