Deepa Bhaskar Bhoomas

Deepa Bhaskar Bhoomas has a diverse work experience in the field of software testing and development. Deepa started their career at Wipro as a Software Development Engineer In Test, where they gained 3 years of experience in manual and automation testing for web and mobile applications. Deepa also had good domain knowledge in insurance and banking.

During their time at Wipro, they created and implemented a Page Object Model framework for UI automated tests using Selenium Webdriver and Java. Deepa had sound knowledge of TestNg framework for unit testing, as well as Gradle and Maven as build tools and Jenkins for continuous integration. Additionally, they developed an automation framework for REST API service level integration tests in Java, which ran as part of the CI pipeline during every pull request. Deepa also worked on developing UI and API automation test cases to cover the end-to-end functionality of integration of third-party applications.

Deepa then joined Ross Video as a Product Verification Specialist in 2022. In this role, they performed API testing using Postman and utilized various frameworks and languages such as BDD, Selenium, Cucumber, Java, Python, and Linux. Deepa was responsible for writing scripts for CI/CD and creating Docker containers with Compose and Swarm. Deepa also focused on end-to-end product testing and created/implemented CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, including the configuration of the Master-node.

Prior to their role at Ross Video, Deepa worked as a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University in 2022.
