Erik Liljenberg has a diverse work experience in the field of hardware design and development. Erik currently works as a Sr FPGA Developer at Ross Video since 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of a Principle FPGA Engineer at Grass Valley from 2014 to 2023.
Before joining Grass Valley, Erik worked as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Marshall Electronics from 2007 to 2014. In this role, they were involved in the hardware design of audio/video systems for professional broadcast and film applications. Erik gained expertise in using FPGAs from both Xilinx and Altera for building custom video processing IP. Erik also utilized Altera's Avalon bus interfaces to develop custom modules for their Video IP suite, specifically in the development of multiview and 4k monitor systems.
Prior to Marshall Electronics, Erik worked as an Electrical Engineer at Pixelworks from 2001 to 2007. Here, they focused on the hardware design of various consumer video products as reference designs for Pixelworks customers. Erik also developed chip evaluation platforms for Pixelworks image processing ICs.
Furthermore, Erik has experience working as a Design Engineer at Northwest Logic from 2001 to 2001 and at Applied Microsystems from 1995 to 2001.
With a strong background in hardware design and development, Erik brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their roles in FPGA development and engineering.
Erik Liljenberg obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Seattle Pacific University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994.
