Hayley Farrar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Starting in 2008, they worked at BBC News as a Technical Operator on Points West, where they gained skills in studio management, directing, vision mixing, and autocue operation. Hayley gradually progressed within the company, becoming a Senior Technical Operator and later a Technical Trainer & Workflow Designer, responsible for launching the first automated regional gallery. Hayley also worked as a BBC Academy Trainer during this time.

In 2016, Hayley worked at Endemol Shine Australia as a Studio Runner on The Voice, where they coordinated the movement of artists and contributors. Hayley also served as a Runner/Driver on The Bachelor for Warner Bros., responsible for transporting vehicles to different set locations.

More recently, Hayley joined Ross Video as a Trainer & Demo Artist, starting in 2023. Additionally, they briefly worked at BBC Studios as a Eurovision Talent Host, where they managed the schedule and ensured the timely preparation of 54 dancers.

Overall, Hayley has gained extensive experience in technical operations, training, workflow design, and coordination within the media industry.

From 2005 to 2008, Hayley Farrar attended the University of Wales, Newport, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Their field of study during this period was Documentary Film and Television.
