Mike Pomerleau

Mike Pomerleau has a diverse work experience in the broadcast and multimedia industry. Mike is currently a Team Lead - Hyperconverged Solutions Architects at Ross Video, where they design software-defined connectivity, control, and infrastructure systems for live production. Prior to this, they were the Director of Sales Engineering at Grass Valley, where they led a team in designing and scoping complex broadcast facility solutions. Mike also worked as the Manager of Americas Sales Engineering Specialists Team at Grass Valley, overseeing various areas of the broadcast and media industry and creating documentation for proposal responses.

Before joining Grass Valley, Pomerleau worked at Averna as a Product Manager, where they were responsible for planning and managing the launch and releases of a Business Intelligence software and hardware solution. Mike also led a team of software developers and created marketing content. Mike also held the role of Training and Documentation Specialist at Averna, where they developed and implemented training programs for clients and internal employees.

Earlier in their career, Pomerleau worked at Miranda Technologies as a Technical Trainer, Field Support Specialist, and Technical Specialist. In these roles, they were involved in commissioning and training installations, represented the company in support negotiations, prepared training for the technical support department, and managed technicians and engineers for international trade shows.

Pomerleau also worked as an Installations Specialist at Environnement Electronique, where they commissioned and trained multimedia installations and designed large-scale AV systems. Mike began their career as a Technical Support Consultant at AVW-TELAV.

Mike Pomerleau completed a Certificate in Formation des Formateurs from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Certificate in Sound Engineering from OIART in 1996. In 1994, Mike attended Stanstead College, where they pursued Applied Sciences.
