Hyperconverged Product Prime at Ross Video

Nate Wright has a diverse range of work experience in the media industry. Nate has worked as a Newscast OverDrive Operator at an unspecified company since 2022. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Ross Video from 2018 to 2022, including Hyperconverged Product Prime and OverDrive and Switcher Demonstration Artist and Trainer.

Before joining Ross Video, Nate worked at NBCUniversal Media, LLC from 2017 to 2018 as an APC Operator (Ross OverDrive Director). In this role, they directed weekend mornings and assisted with weekday mornings. Nate was also tasked with directing a gubernatorial debate across all NBC and Telemundo stations.

Prior to NBCUniversal, Nate worked at WAVY-TV 10 as a Newscast Director from 2015 to 2017. Nate directed weekend evening newscasts and the FOX 43 Sportswrap, utilizing Avid iNEWS and Ross OverDrive. Nate also assisted other directors in building switcher effects and OverDrive templates on the Ross Acuity switcher.

Before WAVY-TV 10, Nate held the position of Technical Media Producer - "Super User" at WJHG-TV from 2013 to 2015. Nate coded and directed weekday newscasts, as well as other productions. Nate was responsible for running CG, audio, cameras, and video servers while switching the newscast using Ross OverDrive.

Nate's career started at WJHG-TV in 2008 as a Production Assistant/Weekend Director. Nate operated studio cameras, CG, audio console, and DVCPro tape playback. Nate also learned to shoot video and run ENG truck for the News department, earning an Associated Press Award. Nate later became a Weekend Director, operating a Ross Synergy switcher.

Throughout their career, Nate has gained experience with various equipment and software, including Ross OverDrive, Avid iNEWS, Ross Acuity switcher, Grass Valley Kayak switcher, and Ross Synergy switcher.

Nate Wright attended Arnold High School from 2005 to 2009. It is unknown whether they obtained a degree or pursued any specific field of study during their time at the school. In addition to their high school education, Nate obtained a certification in "Understanding SMPTE ST 2110" from SMPTE in July 2022.
