Sean Riedel has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and information systems analysis. Sean currently works as an Information Systems Analyst at Ross Video since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Core Migration for 14 years, starting in December 2006. There, they held the role of Senior Software Developer and was involved in developing an HTML5 web application for the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). Sean also participated in design meetings, estimated time and resource costs for software features, and contributed to project scope and iterations.

Before joining Core Migration, Sean worked at Activplant as a Software Developer from February 2005 to December 2006. In this role, they handled customer requests for custom applications, reports, and add-ins for the Activplant application, which collects and reports on manufacturing plant data. Sean displayed proficiency in client-side web programming, including JavaScript, DHTML, and web services. Additionally, they developed reports by generating XML documents using SQL Server stored procedures and writing XSL style sheets for transformation.

Sean began their career at Presstran Industries as a Software Developer in September 2002 and worked there until February 2005. Sean developed data-based ASP.Net applications for the company's internal intranet. During their tenure, they conducted user interviews, organized requirements, designed and implemented databases, as well as provided training to users.

Sean Riedel completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History Major from Western University in 2000. From 2000 to 2003, they attended Fanshawe College, where they pursued a degree in Computer Programmer Analyst with a focus on Software Development. In 2006, they briefly attended Western University again to obtain a degree in Business as The New Supervisor/Team Leader.
