Orlando F. Ruiz

Orlando F. Ruiz has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Orlando began their career in 1995 as the Owner and Art Director of diseco.es, where they created and developed brands until 2019. Orlando then worked as an Illustrator for Monocle from 2013 to 2019. Orlando also had a role as a Creative Director at Present Plus from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2019, they served as the VP Creative at WeTransfer. Orlando continued their career as the Sr Director, Creative at Typeform.com from 2020 to 2023. During this time, they were also an Ally for the #HIREBLACK Initiative, ready to mentor others. After leaving Typeform.com, they took a sabbatical before joining adplist.org as an Education Professional, where they provided help with creative needs and led creative departments. Most recently, Orlando has become the Director of Brand & Communications at Rossum since May 2023.

Orlando F. Ruiz attended the Escuela superior de Artes de Asturias, where they studied Graphic Design. Orlando later went on to study Graphic Design and Illustration at the Escuela de Artes de Asturias from 1994 to 1998. In 2023, they obtained certification in the ADP List First Mentorship Session from adplist.org.
