Ericka Allen

Ericka Allen is currently a software engineer at Rosy Wellness. Prior to that, they were a lead full stack software developer at Safenetix from November 2020 to December 2021. In that role, they created and managed resources, pipelines, and infrastructure in Azure Portal and Azure DevOps to support development and deployment of IdentityServer, IdentityServer web admin, Safenetix web application (Angular frontend and C#/.NET Core API), cross-platform mobile application (NativeScript), and multiple Azure SQL databases behind those applications.

Before Safenetix, Ericka worked as a lead software developer at SkuVault from March 2017 to November 2020. In that role, they used a variety of technologies to see projects to completion, including JavaScript (React.js, React Native, and Node.js), Typescript, Git, SQL, Angular, Python, HTML/CSS/LESS, C#/.NET, and Liquid. As part of a two person team, they also gathered project requirements and managed their own unique Kanban/Scrum hybrid workflow to consistently deliver projects on time and to high quality standards.

Ericka began their career as a web developer at their own company in October 2014 before becoming an elementary school teacher at various public school districts from July 2008 to June 2013.

Ericka Allen has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Finance from the University of Louisville. Ericka also has a Certificate of Completion in Fullstack JavaScript and iOS Development from Treehouse. Lastly, they have a Master's Degree in Teaching (K-5) from Bellarmine University.
