Research Scientist: Greenhouse Gas And Ammonia Emissions From Agriculture at Rothamsted Research

Alison Carswell has a diverse work experience, starting with a role as a Laboratory Analyst with Perrigo from April 2002 to September 2005. After this, they worked as a PhD student at Rothamsted Research from October 2011 to November 2015. Following their PhD, they joined the University of Bristol as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant from November 2014 to March 2016. Alison then returned to Rothamsted Research as a Postdoctoral Researcher from March 2016, with no specified end date. Additionally, they had a laboratory placement at Bangor University in 2013.

Alison Carswell pursued their education in a sequential manner, beginning in 2008 at the University of Exeter. Alison successfully completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Geography in 2011. Continuing their academic journey, Alison then enrolled at the University of Reading in 2011, where they pursued a higher degree in Environmental Chemistry. After three years of dedicated study and research, they attained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Chemistry in 2014.
