Postdoctoral Researcher at Rothamsted Research

Kamrun Suravi, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the field of agricultural research. Kamrun began their career at Rothamsted Research in 2016 as a PhD student, specializing in a specific area of study. Kamrun successfully completed their PhD in May 2020 and continued their journey at Rothamsted Research as a Postdoctoral Researcher in October 2022.

In addition to their work at Rothamsted Research, Kamrun also gained international experience at China Agricultural University. As a Visiting Research Fellow in 2017, they conducted research on TG and DSC analysis of soil samples collected from a long-term agricultural experimental field at Rothamsted Research. This opportunity was funded by the CSIA Travel Fellowship.

Kamrun Suravi completed a Bachelor's degree in Soil Sciences from Khulna University from 2003 to 2010. Afterward, Suravi pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Soil Sciences at the University of Aberdeen, which was completed from 2014 to 2015. Currently, Suravi is studying at The Open University, where they are working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Soil Sciences, which is expected to be completed by 2022.
