Mamadou Aliou Balde

Mamadou is a post-doctoral research scientist with an interest in natural product chemistry. He completed his Ph.D. at Antwerp University in 2021, where his research focussed on the characterization of bioactive plant metabolites using bioassay-guided fractionation and dereplication studies (In silico MS/MS fragmentation and Molecular Networking).

His current research focuses on the isolation and characterization of promising compounds by NMR and Mass spectrometry techniques.
