Michal Russ

Michal Russ is the SVP of Technology at Rothy's. Michal has over 10 years of experience in the tech industry, including stints at Walmart Global Tech, McKinsey & Company, and Tenengroup Ltd.

Michal Russ began their career as a business analyst at McKinsey & Company in September 2011. Michal then became a senior product manager at Tenengroup Ltd. in January 2008. In August 2015, they joined Walmart Global eCommerce as the director of Omni-channel experience. In July 2018, Michal Russ became the VP Product and Engineering of International eCommerce at Walmart Global Tech.

Michal Russ is passionate about using technology to improve the customer experience. Michal has led initiatives to improve the mobile platform, website duplication and localization, and ticket system at their previous companies. Under their leadership, the team at Walmart Global Tech achieved significant growth in international markets.

In their current role as SVP of Technology at Rothy's, Michal Russ is responsible for leading the technology team and developing innovative solutions to improve the customer experience. Michal is also responsible for R&D, managing technical projects, and developing partnerships with other companies.

Michal Russ graduated from Bar-Ilan University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Neuroscience. Michal then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Michal Russ reports to Stephen Hawthornthwaite, Co-Founder, CEO & Chairman. Michal Russ works with Sun Lee - VP, Design, Giovanni Lepori - VP, Global Retail Development, and Erin Dempsey Lowenberg - SVP, Merchandising & Product.
