Wai Sallas

Wai Sallas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both children's programming and sports media. As the owner of Wild Child Gym since September 2018, Wai operates a boutique children's play and family space in Culver City, offering various classes, birthday parties, and workshops. Concurrently, Wai has been a freelance writer for HERO Sports and RotoBaller since late 2017, and previously held the position of Senior Sports Editor at The Good Men Project. From 2009 to 2018, Wai served as the Director and owner of My Gym Santa Monica, focusing on building confidence in children through structured activities. Additional media experience includes roles as a SportsDesk Anchor at CitiCABLE 3 and various positions in sports journalism, starting with account management at Southland Publishing. Wai holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona, obtained in 2003.
