We are looking for a Communications Intern to join our enthusiastic People & Communications team for 6 months. In this role, you will have a chance to make a real impact in a globally recognised entertainment company. You’ll be at the heart of our communications efforts, tackling exciting challenges and contributing to projects that will not only shape our brand’s future but also ensure Rovio employees have great experiences with our internal events.

The team is located in our HQ in Espoo, Finland and works in a hybrid mode with 2-3 days onsite in the office.

You will have impact and fun at work by:

  • Collaborating with the Communications team: Play a key role in crafting engaging materials for internal events, sending out invitations and drafting compelling messages and creative contents for our both internal and external communications channels.
  • Supporting our PR Lead: Get hands-on experience by attending our bi-weekly meeting with the PR Agency, coordinating speaker opportunities and visitor groups, and helping to plan events that will leave a lasting impression.
  • Working on Employer Branding research project: Dive into potential partnerships while maintaining the current ones, research gaming industry events and educational partners, and work with our Talent Acquisition & Game teams to ensure our employer brand shines.

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • Studies or a degree in relevant field (Communications, business, marketing).
  • Less than 2 years experience in a communications role or similar if you had previous work experience.
  • You’ve already completed a project that showcases your communication, organisation and creativity - whether in a professional, academic or personal setting.
  • Passion for Communications & PR: You’re genuinely passionate about the world of communications and public relations.
  • Independent & Proactive: You’re a self-starter who can work independently but knows when to ask questions.
  • Resilient & Adaptable**:** Communications is fast-paced and ever-changing, but you enjoy a dynamic work environment and a fun team.
