Michael O Rourke

Michael O Rourke is an experienced professional in high-performance sports management, currently serving as the High Performance Operations Officer at Rowing Ireland since February 2019, where responsibilities include managing logistical support for the Irish Senior rowing team. Previous roles within Rowing Ireland also involved assisting high-performance squads as an Operations Assistant and providing strength and conditioning coaching to Senior, Junior, and U23 squads. Prior to this, Michael gained experience as a Leisure Centre Attendant at Club Minella and a Bartender at Liam Dalys Bar. Educational qualifications include a Master of Strength and Conditioning from Limerick Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation & Sport Management from Waterford Institute of Technology.
