Kristin Jacobsen currently serves as the Project Coordinator for the Arnhem Postal History project at the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media, focusing on creating a digital collection that explores the daily lives of the Dutch during World War II. Kristin has diverse experience including roles as Sales Staff at Potomac River Running and Community Coach for Girls on the Run in Northern Virginia and DC. Previous positions include Military Assistant at the DoD Inspector General, Concept Evaluation at the Joint Staff J7, and OPNAV N2/N6 staff in the US Navy, along with serving as Commanding Officer of USS HAWES. Kristin's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Public/Applied History from George Mason University, a MMAS in Military History from the US Army Command and General Staff College, a MMA in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island, and a BA in Political Science from Wellesley College, complemented by a fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Seminar XXI.
