Philip Sugden

Philip Sugden has a diverse background in facilities and estates management. Philip currently serves as the Chair of the Association of Colleges Y&H Estates & Facilities Forum. Previously, they held the position of Director of Estates, Facilities & Security at Kirklees College. Prior to that, they were the Head of Estates & Facilities at the Royal Armouries Museum, where they managed a team and oversaw major infrastructure upgrade projects. Philip also worked as a Business Manager at ENERTECH and as the Mobilisation Director at Incentive FM. Earlier in their career, they held various roles at Portal Group, including Sales & Marketing Director and Operations & Projects Director. Philip also served as the Operations Director at Anabas and held positions at Glendale and Williams Lea, Facilities Services.

Philip Sugden earned a BEng (Hons) degree in Manufacturing Engineering with Business from Leeds Beckett University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications in Body Language for Leaders and Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in June 2020.
