Rachel Lai

Rachel Lai is an experienced leader in transformation and enterprise architecture, currently serving as Vice President of Transformation and Chief Operating Office at RBC from May 2021 to December 2024. Previously, Rachel held the role of Vice President of Enterprise Architecture and Senior Director of Product Management and Strategy at RBC. Prior to RBC, Rachel was a Project Manager at Sourced Group, managing an enterprise cloud transformation program and enhancing client relationships. Rachel's earlier experience includes positions as an Associate Project Manager and Infrastructure Service & Quality Analyst at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, where responsibilities included project delivery, process improvements, and documentation management. Rachel began a career in project management at York University, assisting with IT projects and delivering key analyses for budget projections. Rachel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on finance, operational management, and real estate from the Schulich School of Business at York University, and also studied at the University of St.Gallen.
