Robert C VanCaneghem Jr is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in telecommunications and IT operations. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Platform Services at RBC since August 2014, Robert leads a team of over 1,000 technologists responsible for the bank's 24x7 operations of compute, storage, network, and unified communication services, along with strategic planning and financial management exceeding $1 billion annually. In addition to this role, Robert also serves as the global head of Telecommunications and head of Retail Branch Tech & Ops at RBC, overseeing critical network and communication services. Prior to RBC, Robert held various senior positions at Morgan Stanley, including Managing Director of Global Telecommunications, and has also worked at Citi and Cantor Fitzgerald, where Robert focused on enhancing network solutions and supported significant IT initiatives.
