Rashid A. M. Abuelhassan

Rashid A. M. Abuelhassan is an experienced medical professional currently serving as an RCEM Examiner and POCUS instructor at the Royal College of Emergency Medicine since July 2022, and is a Senior Specialty Doctor in A&E at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust since October 2018. Rashid has held various teaching positions, including ATLS instructor roles with the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the American College of Surgeons, both starting in August 2020. Previous experience includes serving as an Emergency Medicine Physician and Chief of KFMC-EMRTP Residents at King Fahad Medical City until September 2018, as well as training as an Emergency Medicine Resident from July 2009 to July 2013. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship in Emergency Medicine from the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, participation in the Edward Jenner Programme for Organizational Leadership, and ongoing studies in a PgCert in Medical Education at the University of Warwick.
