Ton Huggers

Ton Huggers has extensive work experience in finance and control roles. Ton currently holds the position of Director of Finance at Royal IHC. Prior to this, they worked as Manager Group Control at the same company. Before joining Royal IHC, Ton worked at Van Oord as the Director Finance & Control Netherlands and as an Area Controller for the Netherlands & Belgium. Ton also has experience at Fokker Technologies Holding B.V., HJ Heinz, Douwe Egberts, Pactiv, LLC, Tenneco Packaging Europe, NV Koninklijke KNP BT, and Buhrmann-Tetterode. Ton has taken on various roles and responsibilities throughout their career, showcasing their expertise in financial management, control, and risk management.

Ton Huggers completed their high school education at Bernardinus College, Heerlen, from 1978 to 1984, where they studied Atheneum B. Ton then pursued their undergraduate studies at Maastricht University between 1984 and 1990, earning a Master's Degree in Economics & Business Administration. In 1988, they briefly attended Indiana University Bloomington, specializing in International Business, Marketing Management, Operations Management, and Financial Management. Ton Huggers later completed post-graduate education in Controlling at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 1993 to 1996, obtaining a degree in Register Controller (RC).
