Alex Treister

Alex Treister has an extensive work experience, beginning with a Product Placement Intern role at Quiksilver in 2005. Alex then worked as a Campus Representative for Apple in the same year. In 2007, they began working at Google as a University and Intern Program Specialist, where they developed hiring strategy and on-campus initiatives for various universities, partnered with product marketing on the Campus Ambassador Program, helped Campus Ambassadors build the Google community on over 50 university campuses, reviewed proposals and allocated 2,500 Android phones to professors for academic research, seeded GoogleTVs on campus for streaming of social events, assisted with Visiting Faculty Program for academic partnerships and research collaboration, and consulted 10 international teams to globalize intern and ambassador programs. In 2011, they moved to Zynga as a University Relations Manager. In 2014, they joined Lyft as Head of Recruiting, Level5. In 2018, they became Head of Software Recruiting at Ouster. In 2019, they were appointed Chief People Officer at Flip Fit. In 2020, they took on the role of Head of Global Product Recruiting at CloudKitchens. Finally, in 2022, they became Head of People and Office at royal.io.

Alex Treister obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Southern California.
