Angela Gough

Angela Gough has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Angela currently holds the position of Head of Corporate Pensions at Royal Mail, a role they started in February 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Trustee at DOWN'S SOUTH LONDON, starting in September 2018.

Angela has also worked at John Lewis Partnership, where they had multiple roles. From April 2019 to January 2021, they worked as a Proposition Lead, Pensions & Benefits. Additionally, they held the position of Pensions Development Manager from October 2018 to March 2019.

Earlier in their career, Angela worked as a Pensions Actuary at EY for almost a decade, from February 2008 to January 2017. Prior to EY, they held the role of Analyst - Total Reward & Benefits at Deloitte UK from September 2005 to January 2008.

Angela's work experience also includes a role at NATS, where they were involved in airport capacity studies from September 2000 to September 2001.

Angela Gough completed their education at three different institutions. Angela attended UC Santa Barbara from 2003 to 2004, where they studied Theoretical Physics. Afterwards, they pursued a degree in Theoretical Physics at The University of Manchester from 2001 to 2005. Their final educational endeavor was at the Institute of Actuaries from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained the degree of Fellow.
