Rory McEvoy

Rory McEvoy is an accomplished professional in the field of horology and cultural heritage, currently serving as the Executive Director of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors since February 2022. McEvoy holds the title of Curator Emeritus at the National Maritime Museum, a position maintained since January 2010. Previously, McEvoy was a Lecturer in Horology at Birmingham City University from March 2018 to March 2022 and worked as a Specialist in Antique Clocks at Bonhams from July 2007 to December 2010. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Conservation and Restoration of Antique Clocks from Westdean College (1998-1999) and a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies, with a focus on Arabic, Turkish, and Russian languages, from The University of Manchester (1989-1993).
