Jennifer Wild

Deputy Director, Engagement at Royal Ontario Museum

Jennifer Wild is a seasoned museum executive with extensive experience in audience engagement, learning, and exhibition development. Currently serving as the Deputy Director for Engagement at the Royal Ontario Museum since October 2018, Jennifer leads teams focused on exhibitions, public programs, and inclusion initiatives. Previously, as Vice President of Learning & Audience Engagement at the Detroit Institute of Arts from September 2013 to September 2018, Jennifer was integral to the museum's executive leadership and programming development. Jennifer also held various roles at the Detroit Institute of Arts between 1993 and 2013, including Executive Director of Learning & Interpretation, where responsibilities encompassed managing interpretive programs and collaborating on exhibitions. Earlier career experiences include serving as an Associate Educator at the Detroit Institute of Arts and working as Grants Manager and Project Coordinator at The Henry Ford. Jennifer earned a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art from the University of Michigan.
