Hend Abdelhakim is an accomplished academic and practitioner in the field of pharmacy and healthcare commercialization, currently serving as a Science and Research Committee Member for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and as an Assistant Professor at UCL Global Business School for Health. A co-founder of Gustoceutics, Hend is dedicated to enhancing the acceptability of medicines for vulnerable patient groups. Recognition includes being short-listed for the Outstanding Pharmacist Early Career Researcher Award and securing significant grants to advance research initiatives. Previous positions include roles as a community pharmacist at Boots UK and Lloydspharmacy, Clinical Data and Quality Manager at MeDiNova Research, and extensive teaching experience at UCL, where Hend earned a PhD in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design.
