Rick Russell has a strong background in various leadership roles in the technology and publishing industries. Rick most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. Rick also held the position of Commercial Director at the IFRS Foundation, where they doubled the revenues of the commercial teams and developed new strategies for increased sales. Rick has extensive experience at Thomson Reuters, including roles such as Group Director of Product and Technology Services, Group Managing Director of Global Screening, Group Director of Information Services Division, and Business Solutions Director. Rick began their career as the Head of Business Development at LexisNexis Butterworths. Rick Russell attended Bolton School from 1977 to 1984 but did not earn a degree. Rick then went on to The University of Salford from 1990 to 1991, where they obtained an MSc degree in Marketing with French. Finally, in 2013 and 2014, they participated in the DMGT Leadership Development Programme with a focus on Business Leadership at Churchill College, Cambridge University, however, they did not obtain a degree during this program.
