Alan Hopkins

Alan Hopkins is a trained ophthalmologist with a background in mechanical engineering and medicine. Alan has worked in various hospitals and research positions, focusing on ophthalmology, cardiovascular research, and medical device development. Alan is currently working as an Ophthalmology Trainee at Royal Victoria Eye & Ear Hospital and the Health Service Executive, as well as serving as a National Fellow for Innovation and Change. Additionally, Alan holds a Master of Science degree in Ophthalmology/Genetics and a Graduate Certificate in Statistics.
