Maya Shimizu

Maya Shimizu is an experienced hospitality professional currently serving as a hostess at Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine since December 2022. Maya has a diverse background in the food service industry, having held multiple roles including head server, server, and hostess at Sake 2 Me Sushi from August 2021 to November 2022, along with serving as a shift supervisor and barista at 7 Leaves Cafe between September 2019 and August 2021. Maya also contributed to youth sports as an assistant coach for the frosh/soph girls basketball team at Los Alamitos High School from December 2019 to August 2021. Earlier, Maya worked as a server at Bamboo Grill & Sushi from January 2019 to January 2020. Maya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from California State University, Long Beach, where studies were completed in 2023, following graduation from Los Alamitos High School in 2019.
