Buwaneka Ranatunge

Buwaneka Ranatunge has extensive experience in the field of UI/UX design and digital marketing. Buwaneka is currently working as a UX Lead at RozieAI since 2021. Prior to this, they founded and served as the CEO of ParkMeApp, a smart digitalized parking solution provider in Sri Lanka, starting from December 2016. Buwaneka also founded and served as the CEO of Ceffectz, a company specializing in UI/UX designing, graphics design, IT consultation, and digital marketing, starting from January 2010.

Buwaneka also has experience as a Software Engineer - UI/UX at WSO2 from March 2014 to April 2014. Buwaneka worked as a Project Coordinator - Web and Multimedia at hSenid Outsourcing from July 2012 to March 2014, where they were responsible for managing the Web and Multimedia team, maintaining standards, and handling HCI/UI related issues. Buwaneka also provided user experience designing, graphic designing, search engine optimization, and technical consultation.

Prior to that, Buwaneka worked as a UI Designer at hSenid Mobile Solutions from June 2010 to June 2012. Buwaneka handled HCI/UI related issues, provided consulting to developers, and designed and developed the hSenid Software International website.

Additionally, Buwaneka has experience as a Web Designer at Oganro Ltd from February 2009 to June 2010 and as the founder of BNRmeida from March 2006 to October 2008, where they managed BNRmedia.com, the biggest entertainment website in Sri Lanka.

Overall, Buwaneka Ranatunge has a diverse background in UI/UX design, graphics design, IT consultation, digital marketing, and project coordination.

Buwaneka Ranatunge completed a Bachelor of Science BSc (Hons) in Computing at Teesside University from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a BCS degree in Information Technology from BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT between 2010 and 2012. In 2009, Buwaneka studied Programming with C#.net at Net Assist. In 2008, they pursued Java Application Development at NIBM - National Institute of Business Management. Finally, in 2005, they earned a Certificate in Information Technology (CIT) from E-soft.
